practical jokes from the universe

While I was chilling out in Antigua recalibrating, making new friends and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere, live music and beach life that the Caribbean offers; I found myself being recruited as a TV presenter role for Antigua Sailing Week.

Feel free to cringe along with me:

The night before I was due to start work as said 'TV presenter' I got to my lovely 70's "Shanti Shack" that I was renting to find a donkey tied to the balcony, a police van parked on the drive and a very loud-vibrate-through-the-walls festival opposite due to keep on all night long.

Once again The Universe had played a practical joke on me and thrown me a curve ball. I wanted to be responsible and have a good nights sleep before my early start to my new gig.

My resolution then was to surrender and join the party (before the producer, my mate Robin saved my mind with an invite to crash at his place). The dance-floor shapes were entertaining nevertheless and almost made a sleepless night worthwhile.

The night was wonderfully synchronised with the full moon no less...
